Introduction:

Jorge Marco Renau is an Assistant Professor at the University of Girona, Department of Economics. His research focuses on environmental and resource economics, as well as social economics, with particular interest in how social and moral norms help overcome social dilemmas. He is a member of the steering committee of the Blue Resources for Development program, an initiative of the Environment for Development (EfD) network based at the University of Gothenburg and funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency, where he leads international projects on sustainable development in the Global South. In collaboration with the IDB and HM Treasury, he has also contributed to Inputs for The Dasgupta Review: The Economics of Biodiversity.
