Reimagine What’s Possible: A Pre-master’s for the Next Generation
Amid the global transformations brought by the pandemic, ongoing conflicts, and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, this Pre-master’s program—designed by SPE as a preliminary test—offers an innovative, interdisciplinary approach to understanding emerging economies. It received very positive feedback from the first cohort of students. Noticeably, this program is the first of its kind that features collaborative teaching across disciplines at NTU.
The curriculum is organized into three modules: 1) Entertainment, which examines the dynamics of musical and film production; 2) Neo-Nomadism, which investigates digital nomadism as a new mode of production; and 3) DEI-Leadership, which addresses diversity, equity, inclusion, and leadership through both theory and practice.

Drawing on the expertise of distinguished NTU faculty—including Professors Pao-Hsiang Wang, Mou-Lan Wong, Hans H. Tung, Matthew Huei-Ming Ma, and Bennett Fu—the program integrates rigorous research with humanities-based perspectives. By combining insights from drama, literature, medicine, and political science, it equips students with the critical vision and creative agility needed to tackle today’s global challenges.
SPE also extends its gratitude to our corporate partners, whose support in sending employees for knowledge upgrading highlights the program’s value not only for students, but also for professionals seeking to grow in a rapidly changing world.
