Geopolitics Meets Academia: QMUL Dean’s Taiwan Visit Opens Doors to Cooperation

The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of QMUL Visited SPE and Delivered a Lecture

Dr. Matthieu Burnay, Dean for International, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at QMUL, and his colleague visited SPE on February 24 and February 26, 2025 to discuss potential collaborations and gave a lecture. The discussions focused on student exchange programs, a 1+1 master’s dual degree program, and executive programs. On February 26, Dean Burnay delivered a lecture, hosted by SPE, entitled “Geopoliticization, Compartmentalization, and Unilateralization in the EU Trade and Investment Policy.” The lecture included an exchange of ideas and discussions with students and faculty from various colleges at NTU.
