First Visit by Sciences Po President Vassy to SPE with New Collaborations
President Luis Vassy of Sciences Po (The Institut d’études politiques de Paris) visited the School of Political Science and Economics (SPE) on Friday, January 24, 2025. Welcomed by NTU President Wen-Chang Chen and SPE faculty leaders, President Vassy was accompanied by Sciences Po Vice President Jeremy Perelman, Director Franck Paris, and representatives from the Bureau français de Taipei. The visit to the NTU campus concluded with the signing of a new MoU with SPE, focusing on innovative academic initiatives, collaborative research projects, and exchange programs. Industry partners with strong Taiwan-France links joined a luncheon hosted by the Bureau français de Taipei. Potential topics of collaboration were discussed at both meetings, including AI public policies and governance, energy sustainability and industrial development, as well as the societal challenges of quantum computing.
