New Horizons: SPE and Melbourne Law School Launch Joint Internship and Visiting Programs

SPE and Melbourne Law School Launch New Collaborative Student Programs 

On April 24, 2025, Professor Jianlin Chen, Associate Dean (International) of Melbourne Law School at the University of Melbourne, visited the SPE to formalize a new collaboration on Student Internship and Visiting Programs. Professor Chen represented the Dean of the Melbourne Law School, Professor Michelle Foster, in advancing this partnership. This visit followed the signing of a Dual Degree Agreement between SPE and Melbourne Law in January 2025, during which both institutions also began discussions on potential internship opportunities with SPE’s industry partners. Recognizing the value of strengthening academia–industry ties, SPE and Melbourne Law School plan to launch these student programs in the upcoming academic year. Melbourne Law School is ranked Australia’s number one law school in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2025.

 

Representatives from the School of Political Science and Economics at NTU and Melbourne Law School signed an agreement to launch new collaborative student programs.
