Introduction

Introduction

The School of Political Science and Economics (SPE) at National Taiwan University (NTU) actively seeks to collaborate with industry partners to provide students with meaningful internship opportunities that complement their academic training.

The School is exploring potential collaboration with companies in Taiwan to offer both short-term internship opportunities—typically lasting one to two months during the summer or winter vacation—and longer-term internship placements.

Internship Focus Areas

Proposed internship responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Data analytics and data processing
  • Economic and public policy analysis
  • Financial market research
  • Other research- or analysis-related tasks

These internship opportunities aim to provide students with practical, hands-on experience while strengthening their analytical, research, and professional skills. A more detailed description of the proposed internship framework is available in the attached document for reference.

Internship Credits

Students who complete at least 108 internship hours at a host organization approved by the School as a qualified internship organization will be awarded three credits. Please refer to the attached document below for detailed information on internship credit recognition:
