Job Opening: Part-time workers for School of Political Science and Economics

Position Available: 1-2 part-time workers

 

Position Overview 

The School of Political Science and Economics (SPE) at National Taiwan University (NTU) was established under the “National Key Fields Industry-University Cooperation and Skilled Personnel Training Act” (國家重點領域產學合作及人才培育創新條例) as Taiwan’s first research institute dedicated to political economy, a nationally designated key discipline. SPE is also the first research institute in the nation to offer fully English-taught programs, with plans to offer eight degree programs across the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels.

 

The part-time workers’ main tasks are to assist with administrative and general affairs within the School, ensuring the smooth operations of daily activities. 

 

Responsibilities

  1. Assist with administrative and general affairs, including basic expense reimbursement.
  2. Answer phone calls and greet visitors at the reception.
  3. Manage the receipt and forwarding of official documents and mail, as well as document distribution through the document management system.
  4. Daily environment maintenance and cleaning.
  5. Assist with school events and activities.
  6. Support other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications

  1. Proficient in office tasks, including document processing and data compilation.
  2. Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.
  3. Familiar with campus operations, with at least one year of relevant experience preferred.
  4. Responsible, diligent, proactive, and eager to learn.
  5. Ability to understand basic English.

 

Work Location

NTU Main Campus School of Political Science and Economics ( Lixian Hall, Room 308, No. 1, Section 4, Roosevelt Road, Taipei City, Taiwan).

 

Working Hours

At least 16 hours per week.

 

Salary and Benefits

Base hourly wage: NT$190 per hour.
