Position Overview
The establishment of the School of Political Science and Economics (SPE) at National Taiwan University (NTU) represents a strategic response to the evolving global geopolitical landscape and Taiwan’s imperative for sustainable development. This initiative was developed on the basis of the national “National Key Fields Industry-University Cooperation and Skilled Personnel Training Act” (國家重點領域產學合作及人才培育創新條). The SPE aspires to act as a leading institution for praxis-oriented research in political science & economics, finance, and leadership & management, cultivating future leaders distinguished by their global perspectives, interdisciplinary expertise, and intercultural competence. The Executive Manager will assist the CEO in managing both internal and external affairs of the College. The position requires prior experience in university administration and strong communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities

Manage administrative affairs of SPE;

Plan and organize academic conferences and forums;

Assist in advancing industry-academia collaboration initiatives;

Facilitate interdepartmental and intercollegiate coordinations and communications;

Handle other tasks as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications
-
Education: A bachelor’s degree or higher from a domestic or international university recognized by the Ministry of Education

Experience: At least three years of experience in higher education administration.

Skills: Attentions to detail and ability to assist in the organizational management of the School; strong interdepartmental communication skills, with the ability to integrate information and facilitate coordination.

Experience in project management and initiation

Proficiency in English (and other languages a plus)
Work Location
NTU Main Campus: School of Political Science and Economics (No. 1, Section 4, Roosevelt Road, Taipei City, Taiwan).
Salary and Benefits

Competitive Salary and Benefits: The position offers a competitive project-based salary that includes labor and health insurance, along with pro-rated year-end bonuses based on the start date.

Attendance and Leave Policies: Attendance and leave are governed by College policies.

Probation and Renewal: There is a three-month probation period with full salary, and contract renewal will be based on performance and conducted annually.
