Study Abroad

Introduction

The School of Political Science and Economics at National Taiwan University (NTU) collaborates with top universities worldwide to offer students diverse learning opportunities, including internships, apprenticeships, exchange programs, and dual-degree programs both domestically and internationally. We are also actively continuing to strengthen partnerships with universities around the world, providing our students with a platform to broaden their global perspectives and engage internationally.

Tuition Fees and Living Expenses

Wondering how much it costs to study abroad? Please refer to the announcements for information on tuition, accommodation, and other related costs for each university. In general, students who have completed tuition payment and registration at NTU are exempt from paying tuition at the host exchange university. However, students are responsible for other expenses incurred at the host university, including fees, accommodation, living expenses, insurance, and airfare. Additionally, application-related costs such as application fee and program fee may apply when applying for exchange programs. The costs for your exchange period will depend on your exchange destination and your own spending habits, so we kindly ask you to evaluate these factors independently.

Exchange Program Schedule

Please refer to the announcements for the current semester and the relevant information provided by the exchange universities.

Credits

Credit systems between SPE and the host school may vary, therefore, it is not guaranteed that the credit units obtained at the host school can be transferred back to SPE. Students should discuss credit transfers with their departments prior to departure for the exchange program.

(Credit transfer will be handled according to the university’s regulations and the department’s requirements.)
