Bachelor’s Program in Finance (Coming Soon)
Features & Objectives
This program aims to train undergraduates in both theoretical and practical finance skills so as to enable them to adapt to emerging trends in finance, achieve global competitiveness, and understand key international political and economic issues. Finance explores corporate financing and allocation decisions, investor behavior in financial markets, and the factors influencing asset returns and risks, along with the functions and regulations of various financial institutions and markets. In addition, the program features financial technology (FinTech) and big data analytics considering such sustainability issues as environmental protection and corporate governance (ESG), with finance closely linked to international political and economic developments.
As global political and economic events (e.g. wars, sanctions, de-dollarization, and cross-strait relations) affect financial markets and institutions, finance professionals require an international outlook and a strong grasp of political and economic issues. Our objectives for finance students aim for these trainings:
-
Skill Development: balancing finance theory and practice with a focus on FinTech, sustainable finance, and global perspectives.
-
Career Prospects: providing opportunities in financial institutions, securities, investment banking, and more.
-
Interdisciplinary Edge: enhancing competitiveness through knowledge of political economy, technology, and sustainability.
